Cute little treat bags!!

Hello everyone!

I 've made a candy or treat bag to share today! This can be for sending off with your child to school or a Halloween party at the office.....even for a Thanksgiving gathering or potluck! You can use it for putting candy in or a small handmade gift!
Either way, these are so cute!

For Wild Orchid Crafts October DT challenge theme was "Treat Bag/Box"!
I hope you will stop by the WOC YouTube channel to see what
everyone else made for our October Monthly challenge!
It's awesome to see fresh ideas and it's a great place to gain some inspiration!

I used a Tim Holtz die called "In the Bag" which is an adorable miniature grocery paper bag "mini me"! LoL..then I recycled a bathroom paper roll!

Here's the tutorial video, pics then the product list with links to follow!
Thanks for dropping by!

Bathroom paper roll treat holder,
"Boo to You"

Tim Holtz die, "In The Bag"
"Trick or Treat Bag"

"Fall Treat or gift Bag"

These were fun and easy to put together! I hope you try some for yourself! I think I would have used the paper roll treat holder for my kids Halloween class party and fill it with candy and or some teeny toys, which in that case I would definitely use the roll, if it was for something very light in weight, I could just make it with the paper!
Save a few for future projects :)

Handmade Burlap Rose-buds!

Hello everyone!

As mentioned in my shabby tag video yesterday, I am now sharing my flowers here on my blog! These are all made by me and hand sewn using burlap fabric and quilter's thread!

I am making these available in sets of 8.
There are 2 styles, "Gesso'ed" and Non-gesso'ed".
I thought it would be nice to have a choice of look.
They all have a champagne colored pearl in the centers!
(the pearls may vary in shades and size in the any order)

These are the "non-gesso'ed":
(the picture shows 7 but you will get 8 flowers)
some close up's,

Today's share is a small but loaded project. I made a tag for a friend of mine, her name is Christina! Here's her youtube channel so you can check her out!
She's the cutest little thing and she's super sweet! Thanks for your friendship Christina, God Bless ya sweetie!!

I made 2 videos for this tag, one is introducing it and sharing what I did and the second one is the actual "putting together" of the project! Like I said, it was loaded! Handmade "Pencil Case/Sleeve" Project!

Hello everyone!

Today is a quickie!!!:) If you saw my Wild Orchid Crafts September DT challenge project, you'll know that I unintentionally created a sort of a different project. So, this project is to make up for what I was supposed to make! I hope that makes sense....

I do want to point out that the layout I created was not in any way shape or form rejected or not accepted by WOC...now I say this because I think I was misunderstood and I apologize for that. In that video, I mentioned that I was supposed to create a
"Back To School" fun and practical gift kinda project, but I only read the
"Back To School" part, therefore creating the LO.....and so there were some comments
that I felt people thought it was rejected....but it wasn't:( The Wild Orchid Crafts DT is always given the liberty to create whatever we want. What we are given is an idea "challenge" theme!  So like October's DT challenge theme is "Treat Bag"...so we can use whatever we want to make a "Treat" bag/box/basket.....and so on...we are never restricted and I LOVE that!

So....I just wanted to clarify that okie dokie!? Thanks for the support and such sweet comments on that project video by the way!! I had so much fun with it and as of right now, it's my fav LO on my wall! :)

Onto the 2nd part of the September WOC DT challenge theme project! :)
All info is in the video and the pictures will follow as well as
products!

Thanks so much!

There it is:) I hope you all liked this little project idea! I had fun with it, no shabbiness or grunge, just cute, simple, bright and cheerful I think! Have a great day!
